Fixes, fixes, fixes...

After making a brief pause in the development of the new AdriPSX, I've dedicated the whole weekend to fix lots of bugs in DuoS. Lots of the problems reported by users have been already fixed, most of them related to glitches in GPU, and severe errors with DuoS's Setup Tool; random slowdowns and other miscelanious bugs have been taking care already

Also, support for zipped ROM files has been added, and a full new sound re-sampler is in the works.

DuoS BETA2 will be released as soon as the new SPU engine is ready and playing perfect sound.

  1. Great news, hope you consider to add the rotate screen function, there are a lot of games intended to play in horizontal mode

  2. Awesome news, we all look forward to the next version.

I hate asking for favors but can you please expand the configuration keys to also use the symbols? (like: ; , . [ ] Left Control Key - =) i'm sure it's fairly easy to do for a programmer of your caliber, i mean doing emulators and all... that's like the ultimate level in coding, so expanding the configuration keys will be easy for you and doing it will make even more users happy.

    Cheers

    1. I made just little progress on this front, and managed to "manually" import some savegame data from Desmume. It is possible to include this feature in a future release, but please don't expect it to be included in this next month.

  5. Yo bro, I know you're working too hard and barely have any time on your hands, but it'd be really awesome if you could include a feature for cheats (Gameshark, Action replay, etc) and a feature to transfer save datas from an emulator to another. i'm also having some problems with the speed, when i first start and play for the first 5 minutes, it works at nearly full speed, but then it starts slowing down in some areas, randomly just like that, i doubt it has anything to do with my PC specs but please man, i hope you fix it.

He said that the emu will not be very configurable and that he won't add some features (Cheat Support,Save Game conversion etc.)
Be happy that the emu runs at Playable speeds on low-end computers and that it even has Save-States and Save-Games.

  11. Where are the revert controls to default option? It's like as if Roor just completely abandoned this project. Please respond to the email I've sent ASAP, because this emulator can play DSi games which is awesome.
